Cheryl Hines
Cheryl Ruth Hines grew up near Tallahassee within Florida. She was born in Miami Beach on September 21 in 1964. She was the child of Rosemary (Graham), and James Hines. She studied at West Virginia University, Florida State University and The University of Central Florida. After she relocated out of Los Angeles to the Groundlings Theater where she studied comedy that she truly felt like she understood the concept of humor. Her first teacher there was Lisa Kudrow. She also learned how to write and create comedy sketches. Experience gained from this prepared her for the role of Larry David's wife in HBO's Curb Your Enthusiasm (2000). Since dialogue is usually improvised for situation comedy, she's at home. It is still a regular at the Groundlings Theater whenever she gets a chance.
