Tina and Amanda

Tina Louise was an American actress, singer, and writer, best recognized by the name of Ginger Grant from the TV series Gilligan's Island. Her stage work began in the 1950s, with Two's Company, a Bettle-Davis musical. Following that, she performed on Broadway in various shows until the year 1957, when Li'lAbner went famous at the National Theatre. In the same year, she made her debut album, It's the Right Time to Tina. Louise made her foray into Hollywood as Griselda Walden on God's Small Acre, a drama movie released in 1958.The film won acclaim from the public as well as Louise got an award called the Golden Globe Award in the New Star of the Year category. In the years prior to this, she studied at the Actors Studio of New York. Lee Strasberg was her teacher. In 1964, she was offered the role of her life when CBS appointed her as Ginger Grant. Louise performed a superb job juggling Broadway as well as Hollywood. She was portrayed as a dark, contrasting characters to the glamour-doll image she was often portrayed. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. In SG-1, she played Helen Magnus and Sanctuary. However, in recent years she's made her name for herself as the director of various popular TV shows such as Supernatural or The 100. Born in Essex Ontario, on the 29th of August in 1965 her family relocated to Toronto around the age of three. The city was her home for the first part of her childhood there before moving to Toronto for her adolescence. In 1997, after being picked to play Samantha Carter she settled down in Vancouver and has remained there since then.
